Eco-Asia promotion by Gold Coast City Council

In late October 2007 the Gold Coast City Council has exibition space at the Eco-Asia exibition being held in Hong Kong.

Global Plastic Recyclers (Aust) Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that we are represented on the GCCC booth along with officials from Austrade.

This representation follows on from our very valued exposure during the GCCC Environmental trade mission earlier during the year.

This mission alone drew GPR into the insights of the recycled plastic markets in Hong Kong and China.

The Hong Kong domestic market alone accounts for 9,000 tons of waste plastic per day.

Most of this waste is sent offshore for processing by a wide varity of recyclers.

Meetings with the Hong Kong EPA and a wide range of officials from several provinces in China made for an exciting trip and the gathering of a wealth of information.

It is hoped that the follow-up and representation at the Eco Asia expo will further enhance our market opportunities.
